The objective in this test was to ascertain the actual increase in fuel economy along with the performance of the tractor to determine overall effectiveness of the Omstar D-1280X Fuel/Oil cost containment program.

Testing Results

Smoother, quieter running engine, able to idle down from 700 rpm to 500 rpm. Lower operating temperatures, and increased horsepower. Able to pull heavy loads without the need to downshift and engage cooling fans. Blow-by eliminated in the  first 6000 miles. Able to operate an extra 200 miles between fuel stops.
